I have this addiction named NARUTO holy crap! .

I've had t3h Naruto Fever since the first anime episode was broadcast and fansubbed in 2002/3, and make it a point to download and watch every fansub release, even though the anime series is already licensed and broadcast in the US. Actually, I watch both the fansubs and the dubs on Cartoon Network.

However, even though I download them every week they're released, my "busy" life hinders me from watching them right after I download them. I.E., this is where I procrastinate lol! , and I end up marathon-ing for hours at a time. Right now, I finally got up to date with the fansubs.

I don't think I'll stop downloading/watching them until the most popular Naruto fansubbing group, DatteBayo, actually follows through with their troll/threat of stopping it on the account that they're always targeted by the coppy-write police Razz when someone else uploads their work on t3h yooToob DisgustedeXasperated . They even warn their viewers not to do that:

I've never seen the anime, just read the manga. I actually got a Naruto book from my library last year before I even knew what it was and I also didn't know it was popular. I just thought it looked kind of interesting and I wanted to read a manga. X-cited + D-lighted
After I read all the books at my library I continued reading them on onemanga.com, but I always stop reading them for awhile. So right now I'm on chapter 138.

I don't read the manga as often as I watch the anime. In fact, I don't read a whole lot of manga as it is; the only manga-related books I buy to collect are the "How to Draw Manga" books X-cited + D-lighted .

But yeah, I didn't realize that the Naruto anime had so much filler--that is, story episodes/arcs not adapted from the manga--until I heard so many complaints about it among the hardcore loyal Naruto fans lol! .

Narutard, eh? Just kidding just kidding X-cited + D-lighted I know a few friends who really like Naruto. I had a chance to watch the first episode when the series was brought over to the US on TV (Jetix, I think?) but I didn't. Like Ichigo, I usually just borrow/read manga at the library/buy than watch alot of anime....I'm really into Berserk, King Of Bandits Jing, Ninja Scroll, Gintama, Rune Soldiers, GTO, Gantz, and I might be missing a few but oh well ^^;; A friend of mine is really addicted to One Piece (Only the subs though). I have nothing against Naruto though, as I see alot of people do.

Thank god for Veoh X-cited + D-lighted

Aaah… playing the "Narutard" card, eh Laughing ?? It was only a matter of time till someone uttered that word on this thread Razz .

But yeah, I had a hardcore Narutard phase at one time; back before the anime was licensed, I imported a Naruto headband and I would regularly wear it everywhere I go. I eventually stopped because it was a P.I.T.A. to wash every day XP .

Actually it's Cartoon Network. I've been a CN addict since it was first available on basic cable Shocked .

Not that big on Naruto (I'm more of a DBZ fan), but their fighting games are cool.

The most popular Naruto fansubbing group, DatteBayo, "officially" announced that they're stopping their Naruto (Shippuuden) project as of 15 January 2009, since that is when CrunchyRoll starts broadcasting official NS streamed subs or something.

Usually, DB is notorious for making such announcements, and they end up being trolls, hence the term "officially" being used loosely. However, the Crunchy Roll thing is legit, and is quite different from the whole "stop uploading their stuff on j00-to0b" complaint.

I'm still a NARUtard, and I don't mind being called that. The word has a nice ring to it Cool . I will still watch the English dubs on CN.

It's funny. My niece & nephew played some of them, but I never did.

Maybe when the opportunity arises, I'll cap some of its gameplay, although I'll most likely suck at them X-cited + D-lighted .

Well, DB did stop subbing this show, but the last ending theme of DB's last-subbed episode is all types of epic. I would like to film myself doing a full version of this dance X-cited + D-lighted :
