Yes. I got this game on purpose. Moar like "DAMNING of the Stars"!!

A couple notes:

- I'm no good at DDR or games with a dancemat .

- This is not so much a bad game, but it's probably not as great as DDR. I do dig the arrow format, where each foot gets assigned arrows.

- I don't particularly follow the TV show, but I have seen a couple episodes here and there … it's sorta similar and consistent, especially with the three judges, Carrie Ann Inaba/Len Goodman/Bruno ...

I don't know if this counts as a videogame per se, but I've recently been getting into the Vocaloid computer generated singing softwares and the songs that are made from them.

I'm slowly becoming a Miku Hatsune fanboy .

I'd buy the Miku Vocaloid if there was an official English-interface release. (Miku's voice still in Japanese, though . I'd like to make synthesized Engrish versions of certain songs I know of .) I still need to learn the piano/read music/etc. .

I'm probably gonna get flamed on for making a thread devoted to this, but at least it falls into Rhythm/Music …

Anyone into the karaoke videogames? As in Singstar and Karaoke Revolution, and to a certain extent, the microphone singing part of Rockband?

Personally, I would like to humiliate myself and sing along with a videogame/karaoke machine , but for the most part, my taste in music is so esoteric, that most of the songs offered in Singstar & Karaoke Revolution are practically ...

Not to be confused with the 1939 Harman/Ising cartoon ^__^

Anyone ever heard of or played it? You take the role of a young conducter named Tackt, trying to save an old concert hall from being demolished. To do that, he has to impress the townspeople with his music. To play the game you have to press the button(Square, triangle, circle, or X) with the right pressure in time with the music. That's right! The game uses pressure sensitivity. The are four dots that appear on the screen called cue ...

I've just seen Chris Brown's stupid commercial for this new game he's promoting called U-Dance. It's a plug n' play game that uses motion sensors you put on your feet. It looks like fun and I was thinking about getting it, but after seeing some of the songs on the song list, I'm not too sure. I don't want to end up getting it if most of the songs are gonna be crap.

Anyway, the reason I posted this is because I wanna know, do you guys think this will become more popular than DDR? It's trying ...

I saw some gameplay footage on YouTube, and I can see it is practically based on Dance Summit 2001 . The button commands look just like DS2001 mix mode, although I have never personally played either. I wouldn't know for sure  .

I have to admit, if it weren't for the Britney Spears tie-ins sans the parodic humor made towards her on shows like The Soup , I would buy this game :akwardturtle: ...

For those of you who have played the game that popularized the Rhythm gaming franchise in the US (and started the rhythm genre), you probably know the game PaRappa the Rapper, its spin off in 1999 Um Jammer Lammy, and its sequel (that I disdain so much) PaRappa The Rapper 2.

Which game did you enjoy more, the original PaRappa the Rapper or Um Jammer Lammy?

Personally, I loved Um Jammer Lammy. Not only was it (slightly) more challenging than the easy PaRappa the rapper, there was a ...
