I was thinking of getting a PSP … just not for games holy crap! .

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are a lot of good games (both genuine & via emulation, etc.), and probably a good way to cheat with them Twisted Evil , but I could only think of two games off the top of my head that I could use it for, neither of which I am any good at anyways Crying or Very sad .

I was thinking I could use it to watch videos, particularly through a SlingBox once I get a new DVR set up (Oh noes! We're switching to K0n-cast again, and their DVR offers are SEPARATE Mad .), and also anything and everything I download off t3h Netz, and also p00tube streams.

That being said, I might do some gaming cheating, and given that newer PSP Slims have interlaced video output, I could possibly cap something from it with t3h Pinnacle, but that's secondary to basically wanting a portable television substitute Embarassed …

So … any advice???? Question

Tried to order a pre-modded PSP, but got a call the next morning to find out that the place I was ordering from was out of stock. Sad

Oh well. Hopefully, I'll find another place that sells pre-modded PSP's, and maybe one that's a 3000 model.

And I'm definitely getting one that's pre-modded. Don't wanna mess with a store-bought one just to want to get it modded later. DisgustedeXasperated

That's probably a good idea. How much does a pre-modded one cost versus a normal one, then?

I've been shopping around for a 3000 model. Gamestop lists new ones unmodded of course for approx. $170 plus shipping and/or tax.

The only pre-modded PSP of the same version runs for at least $320 plus shipping from Japan? Extra for a limited edition color.

Probably worth the wait to accumulate the fundage for someone like me who would rather be moar patient X-cited + D-lighted .
